Expectations & Blindfolded past is all; what you need to make your life hell. Past is surly not relevant but should not be denied or forgotten. A simple 'Present' today often makes expectation without taking note of past farces. This leads to enormous unjustified expectations.

A Story for the same.

In 80s, guy in early 20s, gets married to a family-arranged girl. He has no clue what to do with her as he has just got over with love of his life whom he could not marry due to 'Of-course' Caste. The Girl comes to new home like a clay. She impresses the crowd and 'Her-Competition' in house stir up issues. She is blamed and husband does not support. She maintains the silence.

She is being told about husband's affair before marriage. She takes the letters and put them to fire. She maintains the silence.

Years pass. Kids come. Family go nuclear. Husband is bugged with her habits. Fights take place. Fights become physical. Soon it turns into abuse. Brutal & Tragic Abuse for years. She maintains the silence.

Places change. She is in 40s. Husband is calm. She is calm and uninterested to paint picture perfect. She is just more confused.
What is her fault if cooking for family does not interest her.
What is her fault if she speaks with a sting of snake.
What the hell is fault of her if she does not bloody feel anything for anybody.
She speaks but makes no point.
She remains confuse and maintains the silence.

She comes in room. Gaze on wall. Questions self. Why everybody still expect. Can they just forget it all. I can't. I shall not. You have blindfolded it, I have not. You have expectations, I have not. I have maintained silence, you have not. If your questions are unanswered, so are mine. You never took it that way. Take it this way. Bloody Hell, I will maintain silence and would confuse you between expectation and not-expectation. You shall see world. You shall see!
