Illuminating

Living in top floor apartment has given an another advantage in my hit-list. Even a lazy walk in living room or towards balcony in the evening, blesses me with a view which I never could imagined.

Tomorrow is Diwali and since past four days, every body in neighborhood has placed electrical lights on their rooftops and fronts. Suddenly you see so many lights, in every possible color and every possible design.

I finish my work from room and take a tour of house while I notice after four days why did i not relish this view before. No wonder God Laxmi comes with her blessings on this festival. When a mere human like me gets fascinated by such view and a dusty diwali smell.

Heart like its regular motion of pumping blood also pumps up million of thoughts. Though it purifies blood somehow I believe It cannot do this to thoughts. For every possible thought it makes sure that It reaches to the soul. Soul which is always confuse or rather I say is always so neat that It cannot dump or make use of it. On such occasions you need an outer enigma to help you with. That outer enigma right now is Diwali.

Just when you get entangled in web of thoughts in your store room, a frustration level comes on certain peak and I decide to come out in living room. I take a left, gaze into the living room mirror. Same face! I take right and find an idiot with an idiot box; of-course enjoying cricket! No point in going to kitchen. After yesterday's stroke, food is last thing on earth I would dwell into. Last thing, Balcony!

I come and find myself in city of lights. A sudden chill in the air gives me and my waxed arms a shiver. I smile :-)

A smile after two days. Shucks! Been so long I smiled like this.

Had i known before that a little eve teasing by Delhi Winters would gift me a 'Smiling Me' back; I would have stepped out so long before.

This is what is strange about now a days' life. You read online, you chat virtually, you do Face and don't you Book! So that you can avoid empty spaces.

One just forgets, nature is the best companion to share this emptiness with. It helps you with tears when your virtual friend says not to cry. It makes you dance in its pour when you do not have electricity. It makes you enjoy peanuts and granny's endless tales when it is sunny in winters.

And did I not tell you, It teases you when you badly need a shy smile :-)
